Animals provide us with such an invaluable source of peace, support, and positivity. The simple act of being around animals, talking to and interacting with them, and coming into physical contact with an animal has numerous healing properties, both physically and emotionally.

The simple act of petting an animal or having a pet sit or lay beside you is a significant stress reliever. Many people who live with animals or own pets will claim that the presence of their pet makes them forget their worries and stressors. This can be explained by the fact that being around animals helps us to remain present and in the moment. Animals do not dwell on the past and although they can express feelings like dislike, anger, or sadness, they move on from these feelings quickly or at least, much more quickly than human beings do. Pets simply enjoy the company of their owner and it is the care and nurturing that you provide to your pet that makes him/her happy. The here and now nature of animals is passed onto us when we are around them, helping us to enjoy the present moment rather than being caught up with thoughts about the past or future; thoughts that are largely responsible for the development and maintenance of chronic stress.

It’s also common, particularly among domesticated animals like dogs and cats, for pets to develop an ability to sense your mood and emotions. Animals have a unique way of responding to your needs by lying on your lap or following you around when they feel you may be struggling. They are able to sense your energy and mood, which makes their care-taking instincts kick in. Yes, many pets are caretakers and feel it is their duty to be your companion and take care of you. Dogs, for instance, are pack animals and apply many instinctual pack behaviors to care for you.

Why can’t I look like her?… *sigh*

Having the “perfect” body is ideal. However, you should remember that everyone cannot be Victoria’s Secret model. It is indeed an irony that majority of the girls worry too much about maintaining the skinny, bikini dress body.

The body image is a major psychological parameter on the social media or other modes of communication. It is no surprise that even girls rather the child of seven years is also conscious of the ideal body.  The result of the Girl guiding survey has revealed some startling results.

Survey of Girl Guidance-

35% of the girls were of the opinion that their appearance is more important than their ability in a survey of 559 girls of 7 to 10 years of age while 23% of them felt they desired to be perfect. Similarly, 36% of the girls surveyed felt their looks are the paramount significance.

Similarly, the study included girls of 11 to 21 years of age and out of 1000 girls, 80% of the girls opined that their physical look is more important for them. A whopping 93% of the girls felt that the judgment of a girl is more on the physical appearance than the mental ability. It is also true that 47% of the girls expressed that the look holds them back on a majority of occasions. Overall, about 600 girls said that they are not perfect and desired to be.

  • Changing Lifestyle

With a majority of the girls aiming for the ideal body and with the peer pressure on the girls, the lifestyle of the girls is changing. The eating habits, skipping the breakfast or other principal means of the day is leading to unhealthy bodies.

The girls are going to such an extent that the physical workout schedule has been doubled with an aim to shed some weight and body mass. There is no exaggeration that some girls are opting for detoxification methods.

  • Negative Effects

The misconception of the girls that they do not have a thin and attractive body like the models in the magazine is affecting the mental confidence level. The low morale of the girl has a direct negative impact on the mental ability too.

Social media has us comparing our lives, instead of us being thankful for who and what we are. We live in a generation where technology has has taken over our world. People struggle with insecurity because they constantly compare their “behind-the-scene” life with everyone else’s spotlight. People have indirect communication and are missing out on critical social skills. The truth is, reality is lost on social media. So many people continue to show the best version of themselves rather than the real one. People will always showcase their accomplishments, whether it be a new car, a vacation, a relationship, a new career, or a new body goal, but what you will never see are the fights, the insecurities, or their personal problems. We do not know what others go through in their daily life because we are not exposed to it. Do not sit behind a computer and judge. We have all done it at one point in our life. Someone else can be farther along in their journey than you are, and that is OK, because everyone’s life is at a different pace. Do not compare yourself to another. Just like body images, set goals and let it inspire you, not use it maliciously to have hatred and jealousy towards another and what they have accomplished. Use social media in a good way, to interact intellectually, to make connections, to be able to market, and let it allow you to grow in certain aspects you may be lacking. There will always be someone who will have more or less than you, but what they cannot have is the same purpose or commitment that you can in your own life if you stay grounded.

The last 5-6 years have seen a boom in the social ties among people. Distances between places and people have come down. Stalking an individual has existed in the society, and now it is done online too. An ex-boyfriend or spouse may harass their victim online. The online relationship that did not work might result in the stalking of the individual with the help of the information that was posted.

Though social media are fun and give an opportunity to interact with completely different individuals, still it is not the best thing to lose your sleep over it.

As a comic or a video game or a sci-fi movie, you are thrilled with the concept of the parallel universe. The pervasive idea in fictional representation is not a perverse concept. The grandma’s view that there exists a parallel universe and there is a replica of YOU somewhere in another universe is not without a base. The multiverse is a facet of the astronomical theory which is subject to a very vigorous debate. It might be purposeful to know how the universe is created.


As per the Big Bang theory, some 14 billion years ago, something caused the cosmos infinitesimal to expand and inflate, which caused the three-dimensional space. Consequently, the small splinter pieces formed the larger pieces of matter like the galaxies, stars, and planets.

Believing this theory, we are perhaps limited in our observations since we are in a bowl which is curved and therefore, unable to see outside to confirm either existence or absence of another universe.

The theories supporting the parallel universe are many.

  • Infinite Time-Space

The exact shape of the space-time is unknown to us and there is a possibility that the shape is flat and the space-time goes forever. Therefore, the repetition of a universe cannot be ruled out.

  • Sibling Universe

As a result of Big Bang theory, there is a possibility of the subatomic particles following the pattern of quantum mechanics. Therefore, there are large universes and our universe is only one among the many.

  • Parallel Universe

As per the concept of flat space-time, the multiple universes would have the precise probabilities of 10^10^122. Therefore, cosmic patches along with the particle arrangements replicate, which suggests that there is a parallel universe.

Since the above are based on the scientific assumptions, as long as they are not proved beyond doubt, there would be counter-theories too.

  • The absence of Inherent Energy

The Big Bang Theory was the result of inflation of exponential energy inherent to space. Therefore, no particles are expanding beyond that period of time. The usual rate of inflation at different times makes the possibility of another universe a rare chance.

  • The absence of Infinite time

In spite of the possible values for the fundamental constants, the outcome is so fast than merely being exponential, unless, of course, inflation has been occurring for a truly infinite amount of time. Therefore, this theory reduces the chances of another parallel universe.

Anyway, as of now, the concept of the multiverse or parallel universe is a matter of a strong debate among the scientists. However, the absence of evidence cannot be the evidence of absence.

Avoid the Ugly Fat With Detox Plans

There is no denying that regular physical activity and appropriate diet would enable you to maintain the proper parameters for the body.   • Infused Water

For those who are a novice for the detox process, infused water is nothing but the water infused with any fruit or some spice like the jeera, cinnamon or other materials such as ginger, lemon, etc. A day prior to the detox schedule, you need to soak any fruit along with the other material and keep it overnight. Next day, the infused water is the food for your entire day. Ideal fruits like Apple and Cinnamon Water, Strawberry, Kiwi or Lemon and ginger would be a preferred combination. Should you find difficult to maintain the day with only infused water, you can add the same kind of fruit used for the infused water.

becoming a mother, raising a child, being valedictorian, CEO of a company, MVP of the basketball team, getting straight A’s, or simply being devoted to your career. Not everything is materialistic wealth and others may simply envy how much you are loved or how others show affection towards you. Do not be the person who is envious of another’s intelligence.
